Subscriptions
Learn how to activate, manage, and cancel your Chain.Love subscriptions.
Overview
Subscriptions are required for any paid plans. They provide access to Chain.Love's premium features and can be managed through two payment methods:
Credit Card Payments: Managed securely using Stripe, a trusted payment platform
Crypto Payments: Purchase Credits (our internal currency) using cryptocurrency. Currently, there is only one payment provider supported.
Subscriptions are billed monthly, with the billing cycle starting on the activation date. For example, a subscription activated on the 25th of the month will have its next payment due on the 25th of the following month.
Subscriptions have one of the following statuses:
Pending: Subscription created, awaiting payment.
Active: Subscription is active and in use.
Cancelled: Subscription terminated, access revoked.
Activating a Subscription
When you create an query key that requires a subscription, the subscription will be created automatically. Subscription is considered "Active" when either a credit card is attached to it, or user has a positive Credits balance. To activate your subscription - navigate to the Subscriptions Section in your dashboard, review the subscription details and click Pay. Then you may select a payment provider and follow the instructions to activate the subscription.
Option 1: Attach credit card
Review the subscription details and click Pay.
Provide your credit card details to activate the subscription.
Once the payment is successful, the subscription status will change to Active.
Option 2: Crypto Payment (Credits)
Select your the crypto provider and complete the payment. Depending on the provider you may be asked to provide different payment confirmation
Once the crypto payment is confirmed, Credits will be added to your account. You will be always able to check your payment status and contact us if necessary.
It is important to understand that credits are user-wise currency, so as long as your account has any paid Credits - all your subscriptions will automatically be activated and consume Credits (including the upfront payments) for any services you use. Before topping up your account - please ensure that all the subscriptions you have are valid ones and cancel those you no longer use.
Managing a Subscription
To view your subscription details, visit the Subscriptions section in your dashboard. Choose the subscription you're interested in and click Info for a comprehensive overview, including:
Subscription Period: Start and end dates of the current cycle.
Next Payment: Amount and date of the upcoming payment.
Invoice History: Detailed past invoices with status and dates, available for PDF download.
Payment Methods: Easily manage payment methods.
Canceling a Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
Go to the Subscriptions tab in your dashboard.
Find the subscription to cancel.
Click Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Canceling a Growth plan subscription will incur charges for all used credits in the current billing cycle.
