# Discounts & Promo Codes

## Promo Code Types

The following types of promotional codes are available:

* **Fixed Discount**: Deducts a set amount from the subscription cost.
* **Percentage Discount**: Applies a percentage reduction to the subscription fee.

## How to Get a Promo Code?

Promotional codes are issued on a case-by-case basis. If you believe your project brings significant value to the ecosystem, please [request a promo code](https://chain.love/contact-us). We review each request individually and will respond with any applicable discounts.

## How to Use a Promo Code?

To apply a promo code, you must have an existing subscription in either **Pending** or **Active** status. Codes can be used to reduce the cost of a subscription that is not yet activated or to lower the ongoing cost of an active subscription.

1. **Navigate to Subscriptions**: Choose the subscription for promo code application.
2. **Apply Promo Code**:
   * **Pending Subscription**: Enter the promo code during activation to apply the discount.
   * **Active Subscriptions**: Use the **Info** section to add a promo code to the corresponding field, affecting future billing.
