# Compare

To get to the comparison page - select several Providers and/or Offers on the [main Toolbox page](/chain.loves-toolbox/features/discover.md). Then, click "Compare" in the right lower part of the screen in the appeared popover bar:

The comparison page by default will only list a limited set of columns to simplify the data representation:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Expanding columns

To expand and add more columns, please click "Setup rows" to add or remove certain columns, or "Show all" to simply add all
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Providers and offers

Same as in the [Discover](/chain.loves-toolbox/features/discover.md) page, single entries are called "Offers" and they exist within "Providers", as one provider may provide several comparable offers.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Sidebar

For convenience, the sidebar may be minimized by clicking "Minimize Sidebar" button
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Remove from comparison

Click "Remove" to remove the provider from the current comparison
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Sharing

Every action performed on the compare page is represented in your browser's URL's bar, which means that if at any given time you want to share your comparison in exactly the way you have it configured - you may do so by simply copy-pasting the lengthy link in the URL's bar.

For example, here is the link to the comparison that we used in the current configuration:

{% embed url="<https://eth.chain.love/compare/rpc?columns=limitations,address,plan,nodeType,chain,regions,accessPrice,queryPrice,trial,uptimeSla,verifiedUptime,bandwidthSla,blocksBehindSla,verifiedBlocksBehindAvg,verifiedLatency,availableApis,securityImprovements,monitoringAndAnalytics&slugs=1rpc-hoodi-public-recent-state-ethereum,1rpc-hoodi-pay-as-you-go-recent-state-ethereum,alchemy-mainnet-free-ethereum>" %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://chain-love.gitbook.io/chain.loves-toolbox/features/compare.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
